Progressive Resistance System

• THERABAND uses a colour-coded progressive resistance system that allows users to track progress from one resistance level to the next.
• Resistance levels range from Super Light at 2.4 lbs to Elite at 14.2 lbs.
• The progressive resistance system allows workouts to increase in difficulty over time.
• Each progressive step represents a consistent pull-force increase of 25% in the clinical range from Tan through Black and 40% in the advanced range of Silver and Gold.

Elastic Resistance

The resistance provided by elastic bands is based on how much the band is stretched.

Resistance can be measured in pounds or kilograms of force according to the percentage that the band is stretched from its resting length.

For example, a 2-foot (60 cm) Green band stretched to 4 feet (120 cm) is at 100% elongation. At this elongation, the resistance is 4.6 lbs.

Non-Latex Construction

THERABAND Professional Non-Latex Resistance Bands are not made with natural rubber latex.

The non-latex bands are free from scents and powder while offering the same stretch as latex bands.
